And with my clever play on that quote, I have officially outdated my old self. Sigh. Hey, Blazing Saddles is a classic. So is Troop Beverly Hills, which actually came to mind first. That’s still such an awesome slice of the 80s and reminds me of my childhood. And pudding reminds me of my childhood too. Lord knows my brother and I got plenty of the stuff. Mom always made it. Sometimes she made the stuff in the box and other times, it was the snack pack type. And still other times, she made it from scratch. We used to fight over the can of whipped cream to add our own topping but Mom put the kibosh on that when my brother made such a high tower of whipped cream that it tipped over onto the table and floor. Needless to say, I was the favorite child that evening.
