DON’T JUST COOKIE. MERINGUE!
When I was in elementary school, two of my friends made meringues for the class one day. I remember eating these meringues and thinking how cool it was that they did this instead of play with dolls or ride their bikes. I mean, I’m sure their moms helped them with the oven part of course. But it never did occur to me to make anything. I was a deprived child. Ok, not really. But I always asked for an Easy Bake Oven and I never got one. Not until I was an adult and one of my coworkers thought that for Secret Santa, this would be a great gift for me. Wise choice.
But I’ve moved on since my awkward baking days. And when you bake stuff like me, you’ve got to keep looking for new recipes to try. So I found these chocolate swirled meringues.
