Cream Cheese Stuffed Carrot Cake – The Ultimate!

THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT THAT ORANGE GLAZE!

The orange glaze is the coup de gras on this incredible cake. It’s hard not to love something that has such a sweet filling AND a glaze that would cause you to gnaw off your own arm if you poured enough of it on top of it. Oh man. Yum! Anyway, I will say this…this one is a labor of love, but it is so worth it. If you need something spectacular to make for your next party, this is it.

One of the most important things you must do when making this cake is to be sure to butter and flour the bundt pan. Or use a spray that has flour in it. Or, as the original poster suggests, dust with cocoa powder because the cake is already brown and it adds another extra bit of oomph to it. As if it needed any, but for real, give that a try. You won’t be sorry.

Also, be careful as you spoon in the cream cheese filling. You don’t want it to touch the sides of the pan or else it will poke through and then it won’t be much of a filling. It will just be everywhere and that’s not what we’re going for.

The awesome recipe that I found to make this review comes from the Carlsbad Cravings blog. Click the link below to go visit the blog to see some more awesome pictures and get the detailed recipe.
