DECADENT YET EASY DARK CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE!
The photos got me. I was busy looking around online at food, food and more food. My mom would stop and laugh, and point out that this is totally normal behavior for me. Her too. I swear half our emails and phone calls are about food. And my crazy aunt, but that’s a story for another time. But when I found this recipe for dark chocolate cream pie, I stopped and gaped at the photos. I mean, wow. It looks so stunning and rich. Like one bite might even hold the most severe of chocoholics (like myself). When you see it, you’ll do the same thing.
Oh but don’t be fooled by this decadence. It surely looks fabulous, and it is delicious. But don’t judge a book by its cover. Or a pie by its um, pie-ness. Or something. Where was I going with this? Oh yes…this pie only looks like it takes forever to make. It only looks complicated. And really, why overcomplicate things? I love things that only look complex. Like math. No, wait. I hate math.
