IT’S THE MAGIC OF DISNEY. AND PEANUT BUTTER!
I was a very lucky little kid. My parents always took my brother and me to Disney at least twice per year. Now with the outrageous ticket prices, my husband and I can perhaps only afford to take the kids like once, ever. Sigh. Anyway, we did manage to do that a couple months ago. Watching the kids go gaga for all the sights and sounds really made us so happy. And one thing that made all of us happy was the walk around Main Street, especially when we got to the bakery. Not like we couldn’t smell it from the moment we entered the gates though. As a child, we never ever EVER left Disney without getting something from the bakery. My brother and I always felt so deprived because we literally wanted EVERYTHING. So we strategized. We teamed up to pick a few things we both liked and would share them.
Among those things were the peanut butter cookies. They’re buttery and peanut buttery and boy are they amazing. If you’ve ever had them before, you know just what I mean. And if you haven’t and Disney is WAY out of your budget, you can whip up a batch of these at home, put on some Disney movies and pretend to be there. At least the cookies will make you feel better.
