SAVE YOUR MONEY – MAKE IT YOURSELF!
There is a time and place for driving through a certain pricey coffee chain’s drive-thru. And for me, it can’t happen every day. It’s a once a month thing that I treat myself too. When I was young and single, I didn’t have to worry about having enough money for anyone but me. But now that I’m married with kids, it’s all I think about. My husband and I make coffee at home every morning. Or rather, it is I who does the making. My sweet husband is adorably clueless when it comes to coffee. He once tried to make me some and he poured the grounds into the water in the back part. Oh honey, nooooooo! It was such a mess. I can’t make too much fun. Where he’s from, the mostly drink tea.
Anyway, some days I have so many errands to run that I barely get a chance to enjoy a cup of coffee. And later in the day I’ll notice I’ve left several cups of coffee in the pot. I KNOW. I’m horrible. I wasted coffee! God. Send me to the gallows. Then last week, I got a brilliant idea. It was hot and I was tired and the children were annoying me.
