Grandma’s Rice Pudding For The Win!

BECAUSE GRANDMAS MAKE EVERYTHING BEST!

What do you do when you make too much rice? Is my house the only place this happens? I swear I have this problem with pasta too. Both pasta and rice, I can never ever EVER seem to measure out the right amount. And because I never want anyone to complain they’re still hungry, I usually measure out too much. My husband is happy when it’s rice because he will take it to work for lunch with whatever other leftovers he excavates from the fridge. He’s less excited to take leftover pasta, though. Go figure. Anyway, when there is a large amount of rice lurking about, I have found that making rice pudding is a good solution. I’ve mentioned before on here that I didn’t like rice pudding until I grew up. My kids, lucky for me, are not so picky. They were all into rice pudding from the first try.

This recipe is extra nice, and I don’t know if it’s because it’s just that good or that it came from somebody’s now-gone grandma. I think a little of both. Recipes from grandmas are some of the most memorable of all. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make Grandma’s Rice Pudding.
