PURE JOY IN DOUGHNUT FORM!
Homer Simpson once said, “Donuts. Is there anything they can’t do?” Donuts, or doughnuts, however you want to spell them, are a magical creation. And they’re currently the new “IT” treat. For a few years, cupcakes were totally all the rage. But now donuts are in the limelight, enjoying being decked out in new foodie-friendly styles. There’s a small donut shop here that is way better than the chain stores. They have some pretty unique creations and whenever I don’t feel like making my own treats, I run over there. They are so good!
But one thing I’ve always been a sucker for is a nice, traditional jelly donut. They have them there too along with their chocolate cream cheese filled ones, and square chocolate glazed ones.
