OMG, tonight I noticed with absolute glee as I tucked my kids into bed that the sun was setting earlier. Yes, I’m probably some freak but I don’t care. That’s a sign that my friend fall is on its way. But it will be hard to say goodbye to summery recipes. Cool, creamy, dreamy recipes. Like this lemon poke cake here. It’s a lemon cake filled up with tart lemon curd. And the result is such a refreshing treat, let me just tell you.
I decided to surprise the family with this one while everyone was at school and work. I made barbecue chicken, potato salad, baked beans and dinner rolls.
