SWEET SUMMER ELEGANCE!
Right before school started up again, I offered to my friend Trish to have her girls come over. I’d host a little tea party for the girls so that they could have some fun. We’re in different school zones, so our kids won’t get to go to school together. Trish is busy with her newborn and has been wanting for the girls to play together before the school year starts up. I thought it would be fun and princessy for them to dress up and have a tea party so I went to work looking for something elegant yet simple to make. Lemon cookies. Of course! But these are even more special because they’ve got ricotta in them.
To me, lemon cookies during a tea time is an absolute must. They scream summer and elegance too. They’re refreshing and girly and they totally make me think of that thing my grandma used to say to me. “Little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice.” Grandma would approve of these cookies, most definitely.
