A CONTEST-WINNING FAMILY-PLEASING TREAT!
And so it begins. Now that school has kicked off, I wanted to reward the kids for being so good about coming home and settling down to do their homework each night. They’ve been so happy to be back at school. God, don’t you miss those days? When you actually liked going to school? Sigh. Oh man, I wish I hadn’t have been in such a rush to grow up. Ugh.
Anyway, as I was looking for something special to make, I happened to discover a bag of peanut butter cups that had somehow escaped untouched. They were in perfect condition. We’d just forgotten about them. HOW?!? I know, it’s SO random, right? I can’t even. I’m truly amazed that bag survived this household without being devoured. I’m even more amazed that I was able to make this recipe without devouring every single one of those peanut butter cups.
