YOUR FAVORITE COOKIE AS A BROWNIE!
When I was living abroad, I was relieved to find Oreos there. Though the flavor was slightly off. Not bad, just different. It turns out that many products are different in other countries because they tailor them to each culture’s tastes. In America, things are sweeter. Occasionally, I’d get a package from home and if I was lucky, it would have Oreos in it. The ones from America are chocolatier and the cream is sweeter. And they’re sweeter overall.
When it comes to pre-packaged cookies, I love Oreos. They make great toppings for other desserts and I cannot resist them in milkshakes. Oh man. So when I came across this recipe, it immediately had me riveted. Honestly, I thought it was going to be brownies with some crushed up Oreo cream ribbon or something. Which actually doesn’t sound half bad. But no. This is a brownie split into two layers with a cream in the middle, like an Oreo. Oh yes!
