Everything for the filling just goes in a shallow greased baking dish. First with the peaches. Then you’ll mix up the other filling ingredients and shake that all over the peaches. Next, you’ll make the topping. Once you add the egg and stir, your mixture should be coarse and crumbly. Then it will go on the peaches.
And finally, pour that lovely butter over the entire topping. Bake it up and the magic happens. Your kitchen will smell delightful. Of course, the best thing you can do with this is to serve it while it’s still warm. And be sure not to forget about the ice cream. It says “optional” but come on. It’s ice cream! You’ve got to go for it!
