Perfect Pecan Praline Blondies!

CARAMELY DELIGHTFUL!

If you’ve never had a blondie before, it’s basically a caramely brownie sans any chocolate. And these are super simple to make too with just 8 ingredients. One of them is pecans. If you want to make this for someone who can’t have nuts, you can leave out the pecans but it will give it a little less crunch. It will still taste fabulous so don’t fear that it will ruin it. I left mine in but that’s because I 1) love pecans and 2) no one that I was serving them to had any nut allergies.

Another thing to note about this recipe is that it yields a sticky batter. You’ll need to grease the pan with something better than cooking spray. The original poster suggests shortening. I never use shortening anymore because it’s very unhealthy so I used oil instead and had no problem. You could also use lard if you wish, which gets a bad rep but it is much better for you than shortening. Once these are done, you’ll soon find yourself debating which one you love more, brownies or blondies!

I found this fantastic recipe on the Chocolate, Chocolate and More blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Pecan Praline Blondies!
