Perfect For Breakfast – Cinnamon Sugar Donut Muffins!

BETTER THAN THAT DONUT PLACE!

No more sitting in that massive drive-thru line to get a box of stale donuts. This is a much more delicious and healthful alternative since you know what’s going into them. Mini muffin tins make these a snap. You don’t even need a mixer. Make these the night before and you’ll look like a rockstar in the morning, trust me. You’ll mix dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ones in another. Then you’ll combine them together. The batter should be runny. Oh, and if you have small lumps, not to worry. It will all be ok.

When they finish baking, let them cool in the muffin tin for about 5 minutes before taking them out and allowing them to cool completely on a wire rack. And then, the fun begins. You’ll make the topping and dip the tops of the muffins into it. The original poster suggests that you can also freeze these for later use but recommends you freeze them BEFORE putting the topping on. So go on now and be your family’s breakfast hero.
