This is the kind of cake that just screams “PAR-TAYYYYYYYY!!!!” like those frat guys you remember back in your dorm days. Oh but don’t worry…it’s not full of stale beer and cigarette butts. No way. This is a sweet little party cake that is just shrieking to be made for a kid’s party. Done and done. I have heard you, Popcorn Cake. I will obey your cries and fight for your right to party.
I’m in the process of planning my eldest’s birthday party and I’m trying to think of what to make and do that won’t have me going insane. I want to enjoy her party with her and have everything ready and easy to deal with. So when I saw this, I thought, “ZOMG! That’s IT!” Of course, I’ll have a traditional cake too. The Diva would not be happy if she didn’t have a cake with princesses on it, or at the very least is so chocolaty that even she won’t complain. This seems more like a snack in the form of a cake. It’s popcorn, pretzel sticks, M&M’s and marshmallow. It’s like every awesome snack had a baby and this is what it came up with. Awesome!
