END THE SUMMER RIGHT!
We had to go to the DMV of all places and I had to take the kids. Let me just tell you being stuck with 2 kids waiting for your number to be called is a horrible form of torture I don’t wish upon anyone. It made me get so excited for school to start again. Seriously. And as the summer draws to a close and the first day of school shimmers like a bright beacon on the horizon, I can’t help but fill our free days with barbecues and parties. Because why not? We all need a little fun, and that was especially true for me today as I tried not to strangle my children who, despite having plenty of things to color and snack upon, decided to run around and annoy everyone in sight.
Anyway, as time froze over, I got a message from my friend Natalie who is throwing a backyard barbecue this weekend and in it, she asked if I’d like to bring a dessert. Would I like to? Oh yes!
