OH-OH-OREO!
Before school started, I had both kids with me at the supermarket. We were making sure to get all the school supplies as well as all the groceries too. I had turned down the baking aisle for some things and as I was checking out baking chocolates and such, my girls started pestering me about those Oreo no-bake desserts in a box. Have you ever seen those? I’ve made them before in my single pre-children glory days. But now that I know how to do these things without boxes, I never pick them up. Why when you can make it yourself and it’s easy AND tastes amazing?
My kids whined and whined but I stood my ground, telling them if they didn’t cease and desist that I would not be sharing my own homemade version of this dessert. Suddenly, they were chill as can be.
