Raisin Bread Pudding Like Grandma Used To Make!

A TRULY IMPRESSIVE TREAT FROM YOUR SLOW COOKER!

This old-fashioned tasting dessert is something you’ll toss into your slow cooker. What could be better or easier? Now you can spend the next few hours reading, watching TV, sleeping…oh, wait. No, you can’t. Because if you have kids, they will never let you get away with that. EVER. Anyway, grease that slow cooker and put the bread cubes in. Beat the rest of the ingredients for the bread pudding together and pour it over the bread in the slow cooker. Make sure to stir it.

Incidentally, if you or someone in your family is not a fan of raisins (my daughter thinks they’re squishy bugs) you can simply omit them. I had to or else we’d never hear the end of how there were bugs in her dessert. Sigh. You’ll cook this on high for one hour and then you’ll reduce the heat to the low setting for the next 3 or 4 hours. Don’t make the sauce until the bread pudding is about done. You’ll want to serve it on top of your warm bread pudding for the best taste.

I found this game-changing recipe to make from the Taste of Home website. Click the link below to go to visit the site and get the detailed recipe.
