SWEET AND EASY!
As the battle rages on this summer for keeping my kids occupied while trying to get work done yet have some fun, I’m always looking for simple ways to make that happen. Thankfully, my friend Trish is in the same boat as me. Her boat might just be even bigger too since she has more kids. Trish clued me in to a cool little secret. At the local movie theater, they show a kids’ movie every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 10am for only $1. Yes way! But of course, the refreshments are still the same outlandish prices as usual.
So I wanted to make something salty, sweet and munchable for our little outing. That way, the kids wouldn’t pester us for the overpriced popcorn, candy and drinks. My plan worked perfectly because of this Reese’s peanut butter cup bark. The kids were happy and Trish and I were too. It was easy to throw together and even easier to eat! Yum!
