MY FAVORITE DRINK IN PIE FORM!
Well, my favorite non-alcoholic drink that is. When I saw this recipe, I screamed so loud that my husband actually got off his butt to come see what happened. He thought one of the kids stuck another stuffed animal in the toilet again so he was relieved to see I was only screaming about a pie.
I love root beer floats so I had to try this out. Root beer floats remind me of my grandpa. Grandpa would always come to watch my big brother and me, and when we found out Grandpa was in charge we were so excited. Because Grandpa was fun and cool and we always had a blast. A typical day with Grandpa involved going to the park, fishing, blowing bubbles and going to the arcade. And to top it all off, once we got home, Grandpa would make us root beer floats. We also played a game called “hit the brother” which involved throwing rolled up pairs of socks at my brother. I think Grandpa enjoyed lobbing socks at my brother as much as I did.
