Skillet Apple Biscuits!

THE ONE-SKILLET WONDER THAT’S GREAT BREAKFAST OR DESSERT!

Gather ‘round kids, and let’s make this dream come true! Obviously, you’ll need apples for this. Duh. But please hear my plea when I tell you to use Granny Smith apples. No, nothing bad will happen to you if you don’t, but Granny Smith are the best kind of apples for baking.

Next big tip: save yourself time and use prepared biscuit dough. Of course you can make your own biscuit dough if you’d rather but just know that it will be THAT much longer until you get to dive into this sweet treat. I did not want to have to wait any longer than necessary. I did the canned stuff and it was still amazing.

The glaze takes just a minute to whip up so right after you pull your cast iron skillet out of the oven, just combine the powdered sugar and heavy cream until it becomes smooth. Then you can sprinkle it atop this glorious skillet full of apples on top of biscuits. I’m sure it would still be wow-worthy without the glaze but trust me when I tell you that glaze makes the world a better place. It really does. I doubt any donut would disagree with me.

The awesome recipe that I found to make this review comes from the Cookies & Cups blog. Click the link below to go visit the blog to see some more awesome pictures and get the detailed recipe.
