Southern Sweet Potato Pie – A Sweet Finish For Any Feast!

AN EASY WAY TO GET A TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS ANYTIME!

This recipe couldn’t be easier to handle. And I just love that. Sometimes I don’t want a challenge. I don’t want to think. I just want to get a dessert done and have everyone coo over it. This is that kind of dessert. Plus, it’s made with sweet potatoes (duh!) which are super healthy. I love that this recipe calls for a ready-made unbaked pie shell. Time saving tactics are essential, especially during holidays. You will mix everything together and then very gradually add in the evaporated milk. Then you pour it into the shell and bake it. Too easy!

It bakes for nearly an hour and then it needs to cool for about that long too. Then you’ll refrigerate it for a minimum of 3 hours before serving it. So not hard, but lots of waiting time while it bakes, cools and refrigerates. Still, it’s not like you have to do very much, which is great, especially if you’re busy making other things for your feast.

I found the recipe to make this review from the Taste of Home website. Click the link below to go visit the site and get the detailed recipe.
