LIGHT, CREAMY AND DREAMILY DECADENT ALL IN ONE!
Sometimes, when you take 2 already amazing things and put them together, it’s mind blowing. Like chocolate and caramel, or chocolate and peanut butter too. Or fruit and cream. Especially strawberries and cream. They just go together so naturally, like they were destined to be together forever. It’s like true love in food form. I bet pie would make a great spouse. Just sayin’!
Anyway, this recipe won over my heart because it is delicious AND super-easy. And who doesn’t like THAT combination? It’s a win-win all over the place. Graham cracker crust topped with a thick, creamy cheesecake-like filling that’s topped with fresh strawberries and a chocolate drizzle. Oh my. I found it just in time. An old friend called me from the road to say she was driving over to see us. I had to make something appropriately welcoming but didn’t have oodles of time and that’s when I thought about this strawberries and cream pie recipe I’d seen just days before. It was kismet.
