A BERRY TASTY SUMMER DESSERT!
I guess I should consider myself lucky that every time I go to the supermarket, my kids are excited to pick out fruit. And more than that, they’re excited to eat it. The other day, we went to one of the wholesale clubs. I typically avoid produce there because it’s just not as vibrant but on this day, I noticed their giant packages of strawberries weren’t just on sale but they looked incredible. So I went for it. But of course, the package was too gigantic even for my strawberry-loving family of 4 and I knew if we didn’t suddenly eat 50 strawberries, they would go bad.
That’s when I dug around through my strawberry files and found this recipe I’d marked. I’d been wanting to try it for a while. It just sounded so fresh and sweet and strawberry-licious. With this waiting in the fridge for us to finish dinner, I don’t think I’ve ever seen my family eat THAT fast. This was such a lovely and refreshing summery pie.
