Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Pie – The Best Ever!

TIME TO GET DEEP!

It’s easier than pie. It’s easy as cookies! You’ll get your pie crust ready from pre-made dough and crimp it along the pie shell. So far, so good. Mix the eggs first until they get foamy. Then you’re good for adding flour and both types of sugar. And THEN add the softened butter. Doing this in this order makes the dough come together much better.

Once your dough looks good, you can add your chocolate chips and the walnuts. And honestly, if you hate nuts or if you’re making this for someone with a nut allergy, you can just leave them out of this recipe. It’s your call. This will still be incredible even without nuts. One thing that isn’t optional, or at least it shouldn’t be, is the addition of a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I think it should be mandatory so I am telling you now…don’t forget the ice cream! Dig deep and indulge.

I found this great recipe to review from the A Family Feast blog. Click the link below to go visit the blog to see more pics and get the detailed recipe!
