MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH, NOT IN YOUR HAND!
Yeah, okay. I totally jacked that from M&M’s old slogan from when I was a kid. But did you ever hold a handful of M&M’s in your hand? That slogan was NOT accurate. I always wound up with multi-colored hands. So this recipe for whipped shortbread definitely needs this slogan because these cookies really do just melt right into your mouth. And you can hold them in your hands all you like and they will not melt. Total winner here.
I can see myself making these for the holidays. Or for a lovely tea. Oh, alright. I can see myself making these for my gal pals who come over with their kids and we’ll snarf them all down while the children play and break things in the next room.
