TIRAMISU GETS A BERRY MAKEOVER!
This recipe drew me in because it’s tiramisu which is glorious in its own right and it has strawberries. Does it get any better than that? I must warn you though, lovely as this is, if you are expecting that coffee flavor you love from traditional tiramisu, you’re not going to find it here. Which might be a great alternative if you 1) are insane and hate coffee or 2) are serving this to young children who will adversely be affected by coffee and soon after ingesting it will be scaling your walls and breaking your fine china.
It’s a strawberry spin on a classic Italian dessert, and despite the exclusion of coffee flavoring, it is a twist that proves you can sometimes take risks that pay off big. This is a delightful dessert to serve to company after a heavy meal because, with the fruity addition, it feels lighter and is a welcome refreshment. Plus, if you miss the coffee flavor in this, you can just serve it with coffee and then you can truly have your cake and eat it too.
