Ooey-Gooey Caramel Apple Cheesecake!

MAKE A SWEET IMPRESSION!

I ALWAYS make my husband look good. He knows he married well. If you’ve got company to impress, make this cheesecake! Make sure you have a springform pan for this or you will have crust problems that will make you cry. I speak from experience in my younger years of baking. Don’t cry over crust. There. I’ve said it.

Line that pan with foil and get the crust in there. You’ll bake it and let it cool. While that happens, you’ll do all the other stuff to get this going. You’ll make the caramel mixture and then the cheesecake mixture. Some of the caramel mixture will go on the crust. The rest will wait for the top of the cheesecake. After you add caramel mixture to the crust, you’ll add the cheesecake mixture.

Now for the important part – you will take the springform pan and put it into a larger baking pan. In that larger baking pan, you will add HOT water. This water bath is essential for getting the crust just right. You’ll see! You’ll bake it this way and then add the caramel mixture to the top and then bake some more. You should also know that you need to refrigerate this overnight. So that’s kind of good because when your guests come, you’ll have long been done making this glorious cake. You’ll have plenty of time to do your hair and make-up and look as fabulous as this cake tastes.

I found this sticky-sweet recipe from the Taste of Home website. Click the link below to see the site and the full recipe for this Caramel Apple Cheesecake.
