Chocolate Chip-Speckled Congo Bars!

Anyone who is a sucker for chocolate chip cookies or bars needs to make these. They deliver big time on the chocolate chip sweetness you desire. And they are so easy to throw together. Perfect for a potluck or to take to a friend. If you share, make sure you get to indulge in some yourself. You don’t want to miss out! Make sure you really spray a good amount of cooking spray on your aluminum foil-lined pan for easy removable. Nothing is more depressing when desserts get stuck.

You’ll mix up the dough which is a total cinch. For beginners, if you don’t have a mixer, you can do all this by hand and it can count as your arm workout for the day. To get these to cut well after baking, you can chill them in the fridge. Otherwise as the initial poster warns, they are so gooey, but in my opinion, that is what makes them so amazing. I love gooey chocolate-chippy things. Mmmm!
