Pretty Homemade Gumdrops!

SAY NO TO STORE-BOUGHT!

With just 6 ingredients, you can make these bright, fun and fresh gumdrops, that make for a great gift. For best results, you’ll want to use a loaf pan. Coat it really well with cooking spray and put it in the fridge until you’re ready for it. Put all the ingredients in your medium saucepan and allow them to sit together for a minute. Then bring it to a boil without ever stopping on the stirring. Once you’ve got a steady boil, keep it boiling for one minute. Then pour it straight away into your chilled pan and let it refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.

When it’s set, run a knife around the edges to loosen it up. Then you’ll need to oh-so-carefully use your spatula to get the chunk of gumdrop to wax paper and cut into the shapes you want, thus forming gumdrops. Then you’ll need to put the cut up drops on wax paper to dry at room temperature overnight. A good place to pop them is your cold and dry oven. After they dry, roll them in sugar. Ta da!

I found this candylicious recipe on the Chocolate, Chocolate and More blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Homemade Gumdrops.
