Snowy Puppy Chow Cookies!

CRAZY-GOOD COOKIES!

So if you’re a fan of the puppy chow mix, you’ve gotta make these. And if you aren’t, well, you’ve got to make these. How can use resist a peanut butter cookie slathered in chocolate, peanut butter and powdered sugar? You can’t. That’s the answer. So get bakin’. Like all cookies, line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Then using your mixer, you’ll make the dough. You’ll want to then use a tablespoon to portion out your dough. Roll each tablespoon into a ball, then flatten so it’s about a ½-inch thick. Make sure there’s about 2 inches between each cookie as you set them on the baking sheet.

Once they bake, let them cool and then get busy on the coating. You can make it in the microwave which makes these come together even more quickly. Chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter get nuked for a minute and then you’ll stir it up until it’s smooth. If it needs more time, add it in 15-second increments. Then, set a bowl of powdered sugar nearby and make an assembly line of sorts. You’ll dip each cookie into the chocolate and remove with a fork, shake off the excess and then dip it immediately into the powdered sugar, tossing so it gets a complete coating. Repeat with all cookies, allowing them to set on a rack before devouring.

I found this awesome recipe on the Cookies and Cups blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Puppy Chow Cookies.
